Alex S. Abernathy, DDS
Dr. Abernathy graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in June 1978 and has been in the practice of general dentistry for 29 years. His memberships include the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Fourth District Dental Society, Jackson Dental Society and the Jackson Dental Study Group (past President). He is married to Martha and they have a daughter, Meredith.

Misty is a registered and licensed dental hygienist with 5 years expierence, all which are with Lakeland Dental Care. She graduated from the Univeristy of Mississippi Medical Center in 2002. She is married to Donnie and they have a daughter.
Angela Shivers, RDH
Angela is a registered and licensed dental hygienist with 6 1/2 years experience. She has worked for Lakeland Dental Care for 2 years. She graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2001. She is married to Wes and has a daughter.
Courtney Sparks, RDH
Courtney is a registered and licensed dental hygienist with four years experience, all at Lakeland Dental Care. She graduated in 2003 from Meridian Community College. She is married to Sonny and has 2 children.
Hannah Acey, General Assistant
Hannah is attending Hinds Community College in the pre-nursing program. She graduated from Terry High School in 2007. She has worked at Lakeland Dental Care for 2 1/2 years.

Dr Manning graduated from the University of MS Medical Center School of Dentistry in June 1995. He has been practicing general dentistry in Hinds and Rankin counties for 13 years. He is married to the former Allison Barrett. They have 3 children, Barrett, Allison Douglas, and Cyrus.

Crystal graduated from Hinds Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2002. She has worked at Lakeland Dental Care for 5 years. She is on the Board of Advisors at Hinds Community College for the Dental Assisting program. She is married to Edward and has three stepsons.
Jenna Swindle, Chairside Assistant
Jenna graduated from Hinds Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2006. She is currently in the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has worked at Lakeland Dental Care for 1 year.
